I think maybe I've been a little too negative about things lately, in particular what it's like living in Keokuk. I need to change my perspective. Yesterday, after church, I was decided to go to the Sweet Corn Festival in West Point, Iowa and I realized just how SWEET life here really is. Here are a few of the many sweet highlights of the festival:
First, loads and loads of sweet corn...
Sweet daisy dukes and teen Moms...
Sweet corn enthusiasts with sweet corn to go...
Sweet Moms with sweetly-fit T-shirts...
Sweet dudes with belts over their shirt...
Sweet hats celebrating the many fairs and festivals of Iowa...
Sweet family time...
Sweet St. Louis Cardinal fan...
Sweet jean shorts, muscle shirts, and tats...
Sweet teen NASCAR enthusiasts...
Sweet camo' man...
Sweet dude thinking it's Mardi Gras....
Sweet belt gizmos...
Belt-gizmo-guy with a sweeeet shirt, and best of all a SWEET hickey on his neck...
Sweet....
Sweet hair, sweet back sweat, sweet ability to smoke with no hands...
Not-so-sweet bellyache from too much corn (check out the rash on his stomach--sweet)...
Sweet safety-goggle glasses and sweet preparedness
(Need anything measured? I'm your guy!)...

Jordon... DUDE! That was so SWEET! I am glad I have friends like you who will go and do and take pics so I don't have to. Did you have your muscle shirt on? Just to fit in?
LOL'd so much that it hurt.
Thx for sharing your sweet adventure!
Roberts, you really slipped. I didn't see anything funny about that whole post. Those look like real nice folks. Probably the cousins of my neighbors here in Kentucky.
I don't know whether I should laugh or cry. Cut them some slack, though, Jord. There is only ONE store in the area, and that is Wal-Mart. Yes, I second Julie's question. Were you wearing your muscle shirt?
All my muscle shirts were in the wash. lol
(Wait...that shouldn't have stopped me).
lucky. all we have here are a bunch of engineers in shorts, dark socks and sandals. i'm serious when i say i think i would love it there. temporarily anyway. aren't you glad you went?! great stealth skills.
All I can say is WOW!! You have some sweet people living in your area. Jed and I are laughing SOOOOOOOOO hard right now. I love that you took all those pictures. That is why I love going to things like that so you can see all those people. Pure entertainment!! By the way I think I saw Jeds old girlfriend in one of those pictures.
What's really "sweet" is you did that post after church. . . .
I'm lucky you don't live by me or I'm sure I would be in that post.
Dude, I have tried to get the guts to do a post like this . . . how did you take all those stealth photos??? Or did you just point and shoot? When I was at the swimming pool recently I could have had a field day.
I seriously loved this post. I know how you feel.
